nt backup

Do a Tek-Tips search on AT and ntbackup. There's been plenty of discussion on the topic.

Or buy a package like BackupExec or ARCServe that does it all for you.

Backup exec is a good one. I haven't used Arcserv, but from what I hear that's one of the best. NT backup is very limited, and depending on the tape drive, may not work for you.

I am presently using Arserve, backing over 20 servers EVERYDAY. Most of the backups are centralized. Servers with a lot of data we install a local tape drive. Every now and then we get a situation but have always been able to resolve them.

Sorry, my last thread said 20 servers ..i meant over 200 servers.
