NT Backup Error

The following errors show up in my event log every time I start an NTbackup of Exchange 5.5 Server.

Event ID: 8010
MS Exchg services returned 'Backup is already active. 'from a call to 'Backup Prepare[]'additional data 'Servername'

Event ID: 8010
End of Backup of "XXXX-XX\xx\dir verifyff mode:replace type:Normal

The backup continues and everything seems normal. What causes these errors and how do I fix it? I appreciate any comments and thanks for the help.

I Also recommend performing both Online and Offline backups of Exchange.

Just a suggestion: I had a very good luck with Tapeware software; the core was a freeware with a purchase of SureStore24 box, and exchange module was a separate acquisition (~$200). It was simple, reliable, straightforwrad no-nonsense backup agent.
