hey, mebbe i'm dumb (most likely)
anyway, i'm having this big prob with my authority in an Win Nt environ. i am a member of the sysadm_group on the server and yet from my remote client i am repeatedly denied the authority to all admin functions.
i don't know jack about NT, and the server is in another domain than my workstation, could there be some domain conflicts that are causing me to repeatedly bang my head into my cubicle wall, much to the chagrin of my cube neighbor?.
furthermore, the sysadm_group is defined locally on the server and includes both local and global members. the local guy has admin access but as far as i can tell, none of the remote clients do.
