NT Authentication

If this is in the wrong forum let me know and I will try else where. I am working in an intranet enviroment and would like to use the NT Authentication that the user signs into his account with to identify them in a web application. A good example would be the Snitz Forum. I have a demo of this set up and when a user enters the site it picks up there NT information and displays there name. This eliminates them having to sign into the application. What I need is some direction as to where I would find the code for this.
