Software should come with a microsoft certificate of Authenicity usually with a book and CD . The label has the Key on it . All microsoft cd's install nt without a specific key to the CD. Each customer has a specific key that licences the software to the user .The laws now state this certificate should be stuck on the P.C's case. If you do not have the certificate to show the software auditors you don't have a licenced software package.
