I have a Micron Netframe 2100 running NT 4.0 SP6a and over the last few days I've had some random reboots. 3 today. No new software has been installed, no new hardware, no new nothing. The only function for this server is data storage and it runs Veritas BackupExec (which I despise by the way) to do network backups as well as backing itself up. My only clues lie in the Event Viewer and those are not that helpful. I get an Event ID 1001. Viruses shouldn't be a concern because I have Trend Micro Server Protect installed and it's constantly updated through our corporate WAN. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

My best guess would be a hardware issue. Top of my list would be fauly power supply, I have seen random reboots caused by this.

However, I would think system board or raid controller could also give the same result.
