Hi am having a bit of trouble with my policy settings.
i set up a policy through poledit on the client machine, addes the relevant users groups. and set it up to do things the way i wanted. Then something went wrong. I cant get the policies to apply anymore and i have called it config.pol in its scripts directory

winnt\system32\repl\import\scripts\config.pol

it just doenst work, however the ntconfig.pol works fine locally, and i cant figure out why the client is annoyin me soo much.

any idea's
Oh and the profiles are not comming through properly either, i have a feelings its netbios problem, but the logins are quick:)
any help would be great

Hi prophetoffire,

I think you want to double check that the win98 machines have "User Profiles" enabled.

I have this added into my logon scripts so that I know it is always enabled.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Network\Logon
"UserProfiles"=dword:00000001

Hope this helps...

Thank you.

I checked the registry and that value was already there, so I deleted it to create it. Things are still the same, although i have been getting a few settings comming through, but they are jus the standard ones i think. I am thinking very much its the clients fault.
