I just service packed Novell 5.1 with SP6e(English) and I need to be able to run iMONITOR-1.5.2 from the server console. You do this by loading NDSIMON.NLM from the server console.
Here is my problem:
iMONITOR is only available with eDirectory version 8.5.x or later. I am running DS version 8.85 and I need to upgrade DS to 8.5.x or later. During this upgrade I am going to be doing some other tasks using the CDROM drive. I go to the console and type CDROM.NLM and NSS loads along with a message stating something close to the effect of "CDROM.NLM functions are no longer available or required, as soon as CDROM.NLM loads the CD drive is available as a mounted volume". It may seem like a lame question, but I don't know how to use the proper syntax here, all I want to do is use my CDROM drive to install some stuff like "Certificate Server 2.0.3 & NICI 2.4.2" to meet my DS upgrade requirements. The documentation say's that at the console I should type: Load Novell:\xxx\(Where Novell: is the volume name and xxx is the data to be accessed) to access the information I need. Can anyone please help on this, can't believe that with all I know, I don't know how to do this. This is why we all learn something everyday =). Thanks in advance guys!
