Dear all
Our company had upgrade a DC server to win2k from winNT4.0, this server used to be a PDC when it was installed with WinNT4.0, this is the current primary DNS server.
Another server which is BDC still running in WinNT4.0, but since the PDC had upgrade to Win2k, the role of BDC shouldn't be a matter.
Now when i ran a command called "nslookup", it return a message saying :
**********Can't find server anme for address (DC) : Non-existent domain***********
then i go and look up on the BDC server.
So i check the DC and make sure the DNS is started, then try again on the nslookup, but it still return the same message!
Does anyone know what is likely will cause this problem?
Thx alot
Jack
