I downloaded a file and after I expanded it, it came back as a NRG file, which has to do with Nero. I don't use Nero much and I am wordering what am I am suppose to do with this file? I mostly CD creator or HotBurn or the drag and drop built into XP. Also, I am wondering does this require a certain version of Nero and how can I tell? Thanks.

Greetings, do you have Nero installed? A NRG file is basically a CD imagine (like an ISO) so you should be able to just run Nero, click "File" and I believe there is an option present along the lines of "Burn image to disk". You should be able to use that feature and simply browse to the NRG file.

Either that or you may be able to simply right-click on the NRG file and have an option to burn directly to CD.

Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

You can use a program like "magicISO" to convert that into a .iso file to be used with other software. I'm pretty sure they've got a shareware/trialware version.

Depending on the version of Nero used to create it you can also just rename the nrg to iso and it works, I have done it in the past without issue.

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.
