Hello All,

Hope everyone had a good holiday. Now time to put on the thinking caps. I have Novell Netware 6 SP1 server that had a bad day when the power went out and the battery backup only lasted 10 minutes thus the whole system got shut down the wrong way..... OK sorry about that, on to the problem...

When I go into netware remote manager under Available Disk Space I am shown a outragous negative number for Current Peak and Max. It is a large number indeed. One of them reads as:

-17,592,183,927,896MB

The other is about the same size, and the Max reads 35MB!! Um ok is this weird or is it me??? All the other servers are fine, BUT they are running NW6 SP3. And when I click on Available Disk Space the first drive (SYS) does not show up properly. I can see all the other partitions, but SYS shows me nothing!!!

Anyone ever run into this or ever seen a article on this. This is not the user space this is my SYS volume. Any ideas what I can run to maybe check the disk other than DSREPAIR. I ran DSREPAIR already once and it came up with ZERO errors, and when it asked to view the report, I could not view that due to there was nothing on the screen. This one is stumping me to no end. Please if anyone has any help I would greatly appreciate it.

Usually when I've seen that type of thing, it's a cosmetic problem and doesn't mean anything. Novell usually fixes it in their service packs. But it might not hurt to patch to SP3 + NW6NSS3C and then do an NSS /POOLVERIFY to make sure it's clean.
