Me and another one of desktop team are the only two testing XP within out 5.1 Novell network and we both have tried 4.80 SP3 and 4.81 and the two problems we get is.
1. upon boot before the login box I get a error message which is different everytime but doesn't stop anything working, we just click OK and then can login, the fact it is a different error message every morning and we haven't seen the same error message twice makes it hard to truobleshoot! I don't expect any help on that one but if anyone has come across this and overcome it then please tell me.
2. The XP profile cannot update to the File Server when logging out we get the error message "unable to upload usrclass.log.dat" If we remove workstation manager then obviously our roaming profiles are then not present and the message is gone but even if I try to copy this file locally or delete XP comes back with an error message "unable to find file usrclass.log.dat please ensure the disk is in the drive and the door is closed" this file IS IN the profile under documents and settings but Novell cannot succesfully upload the user profile due to the state of this one file. has anyone come across this?
