Client:
Novell Client v. 3.32 sp1

Operating System:
Windows 98 SE

My Problem:
No matter what, when I reboot my computer, the Novell client comes up with the wrong server and wrong username. I have to manually change these two settings before logging in everytime. Even when I change these settings in the Novell Client Properties it still doesn't make the settings stick.

My Question:
How can I make my settings stick, so that I don't have to keep manually changing them everytime I reboot?

The server is one I remeber, from Network properties select the Netware client properties. The first screen gives "Preferred Server", tree and first drive letter. Changing the server here should fix that part.

I don't have easy access to my Win98 clients but I'm sure there is a setting here to remember the login name as well.

Hope this helps. (I'll check the user name option when I get the chance, just in case.)

That's actually the problem. I have three servers available in my list for default server.

No matter which one that I choose, it still goes back to the server that I don't want (everytime that I reboot).

Even in the properties screen this is the case.

I already tried reinstalling the client, but that didn't solve the problem.

I figured it out finally.

I did a search in the Windows Registry. There are a few keys that the Novell Client uses to fill in this information.

I modified the keys, and it worked.

THANKS!
