Notification when Calendar is changed

We use Outlook in our office and have our training room set up at a resource in Outlook.
The maintenance department wanted ot know if it is possible to be notified if there are additions or changes to the training room via outlook.
Is there a setting on the Exchange server that can do this?

If not do you have any other suggestions?

Is it possible to have an event running in the background on the server, looking for such changes?
