notes module 2.2 backup from server fails

Hi,
I'm able to perform a module backup from the notes server but not from the backup server. If there are environment variables problems, would it be possible to perform a local backup from the notes server? Are there MYARGS that I have to define? Backup server is w2k, notes server is nt4, the notes directory is d:\notesr5. There's a client directory on the notes server in c:\notesr5_client.
Any idea?

What error do you get when you try a server initiated backup? Check the daemon.log on the Networker server.

Hi,

set some additional parameters on the Domino Server, like NSR_DEBUG_FILE (path to the file, like c:\program files\nsr\logs\nsrdebug.log) the debug level with NSR_DEBUG_LEVEL (3 schould be the best).
Don´t forget to restart the nsrexecd, better would be to restart the server.
Have you set the environment variable NSR_ExecDirectory to the path of the nnotes.dll on the Domino Server?
Have you set the MYARGS parameter at the Client Application information field? What parameters did you set?

When you set the debug parameter the debug file will give you more informations.
