I an in Crystal XI and want to have a notes field that is user entered information changeable with everytime the report is run in 2 seperate areas in the details section.

If I understand you, you could set up a string parameter that would allow the user to enter information. Then place the parameter in the detail section--the same info would repeat for every detail though.
