not all files in the folder showing.

hi folks.
i have a network of 2 pc's connected via cross-over cable. both are using xp-sp2. the network is working properly. filesharing is enabled and working. both can see each other, access files and folders on each one's drives. i have a folder on the laptop that contains some family pictures all .jpg type. i can see all the pictures except one.
the folder is shared, as a matter of fact, the whole drive is shared. i'm just baffled by this. any suggestions?

Go to tools, then folder options, make sure show hidden files and folders are checked. Also make sure the file itself doesnt have sharing disabled.
