Hi,
Bob Larson gave you the correct answer.
Different printers will print and display reports differently.
So, if your users have different types of printers, this will be a problem
I have seen pictures print different.
I have seen fonts print different
I have seen reports that fit on one page require 2 pages for a different printer.
Different printers have different side, top and bottom margin minimum values. So, a laser printer will almost always be capable of printing a larger (wide/hide) report than an Ink Jet type printer.
One option is to leave extra areas for text and labels and never use a report whose width is the printer maximum. Always leave a little extra space.
The only way to solve is to use one standard network printer or have each user have the exact same printer.
Another solution might be to print to a 'PDF' printer, save the file and then print the PDF file. To make this work everyone may need the pdf software and the same print driver installed as a default printer, even if they do not actually have the default printer available.
Hope This Helps,
Hap...
