Nortons stopped working after installing XP sp2

Since installing SP2 NAV has stopped working. I have been to Symantec and they no longer support 2003 although I have updated everything.Live update still works.
I would appreciate any help please.

have you uninstalled NAV and re installed after sp2 ?
