Got a serious problem here, running windows XP PRO, 2 hd's, 2nd harddrive is broken into 2 partitions, recently tried to clone my C: drive to my secondary harddrive, it went into pc-dos mode and began cloning, when system booted back up and I clicked into my computer to view my secondary hardrive on drive letter F: it was not there, there was only E: with the same stuff I had on my c: drive, I had a lot of stuff of my F: drive, any way on how to restore this through Ghost, I tried Windows restore point with no luck, please help.

Has the size of E: increased? If it has then theres a good chance that f: is gone.

If it hasn't then it might just be a case of XP not being able to see the drive.

Click on Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management.

Click on Disk Management in the Storage Section on the left hand side.

Can you see any reference to your f: drive?

Let us know what you find.

Hi Greg, your absolutely right the size of my e:drive has increased alomost to it's fullest being 120gb, it contains the same info thats on my c:drive, this is what I was afraid of, I went into disk management and only see my c, and e: drive no F, please tell me there's a way to undo this mistake through Norton Ghost or Windows, thanks for your help.

Sounds like you copied C: to a drive, rather than a partition (or file).

You're only hope in that case is a data recovery app (or service - but that's expensive) - if you are using ntfs, the one Greg recommended may not find anything. Here's a couple more (not free, unfortunately), recommended by members here:-

You'll find more using Google.

Thanks for all your help guys, but I'm screwed, tried 2 utilities for NTFS, just restores the new stuff thats been converted from C:drive, no movies, no music, no data files.
