Nortel VPN client hangs under XP

Hi

I am struggling since some weeks now. Using a Netgear MR814V2, Windows XP, Contivity Client and Citrix on an IBM T41.
I can connect to the Internet nicely over DSL. As soon as I log in to my company via VPN I get problems. Sometimes the connection goes up to 30 min, but most of the time it some after some minutes.
There is no data coming in anymore over the VPN channel.
I tried a lot of different seetings for the router and also
updraded the firmware. Browsing also does not work anymore
(VPN channel is dead).
As soon as I disconnect the VPN client everything is back to normal !
I am sure it is not the hardware or my router. I suspect it is some weird setting in XP.
Did anyone have the same symptoms ?

Any help would be great
