I have a Nortel Startalk vm system, model NT8B72AB-93 Model A. We had a power outage for about 4 hours over the weekend, and now can't boot it back up. Phone system is working, but not the Startalk. Tried rebooting, then later tried rebooting holding down the reset switch for 10 -15 seconds. Nothing. When we try to program, it says "Feature Inactive" Anyone have any ideas. Much appreciated.

Either bad Processor or Hard drive, you will need to plug in a terminal and see what comes across to determine which one

There is no hardrive on a Startalk. Usually if a restart will not restore this to a working state. Then the programming is lost and you need to re-install the Startalk as if it was a new installation.

he did say it was a flash

We had that problem at one of our sites also and it turned out to be a bad power supply in the startalk. Apparently they are a bit delicate.
