Nortel RD-1987 6 line system?

I have a client asking me to come and look at a Nortel RD-1987 6-line system.
I've looked on the Nortel site and searched manual sites as well as Google and Bing with no mention of this system.
Is this something that is so ancient that it was never mentioned on the net?

Anyone heard of this system? I hate to go out completely blind...

the only older system with six line that i know of was the compact 6/16

Nortel had a pre Norstar system called a Vantage. I think its smallest unit could have 8 lines and there were also bigger units.
