Nortel dpnss to Avaya problem with call forwarding 1

Problem: Nortel Option 61C connected to an Avaya switch using dpnss tie trunk, when call made from extn in Avaya to extn in nortel switch, and the nortel extn is call forwarded to an external number the caller is diverted to local nortel switchboard not to external number.

However, if an external caller calls via DDI to the nortel extn. it is being forwarded correctly.

I beleive this maywell be a restriction in DPNSS terms
my guess is if you set-up a 'SteeringCode' with relevant RLB and DMI and that Extn to be forwarded to it this will prove it....I think there maybe some DPNSS plugins within PDT mode to open and resolve

Try that go into PDT and "ple 25" (plugin enable)
