I recently purchased a used CVX 1800 and I did not get a manual or user guide. I am not familiar with this product at all so this should be a fun time. I would like to know the default password and login. If anyone knows that it would be a great help and a good start. Thanks!

Hi,
Put CVX PCMCIA card in to your notebook (window 2000 recommend)you will seen all files. to recorery password you may choose either:
1/ delete config.cvx (you may lost all configuration similer to factory default)
2/or you can edit the config.cvx file and remove the nested ip_auth_local or ip_svc_auth_entry definition. Remember that you have to get the nested definition out and not leave in an extra return because that will have an affect when the CVX re-reads config file.
When you re-insert the PCMCIA card, you should reboot the CVX with a reset or a power cycle. When you get the login prompt, you can just hit enter
