In my previous post about my issues with NRTH30AA, I discovered the dongle bad, so I ordered a used NRTH30AA with it's good dongle in-place, but it came with Server 2003, and no disks. The password they supplied does not work for the administrator account (who in their right mind sells a device without clearing the password?). I understand there is a nortel default password I could use to reset the administrator password. Anyone know what the user and password is?

The default password for a out of box 2003 is Bvw250. But from your previous posts You are licenced for 1.07. YOu just need to format the hard drive and install windows NT and 1.07 unless you bought keycodes for rls 5.

Thank you...I have tried Bvw250 and Bvw251 for Administrator and administrator...No Joy. The reason I need it, is I purchased an "upgrade" and new board to Callpilot 3.0. When it arrived, I could not get pass the logon screen. The seller is sending me disks so I can re-image hard drive and hopefully utilize the default password to get in. I was looking for another way pass the administrator login like using Admin or even an Nortel backdoor.
If I am successful with the rebuild, I will let this forum know.....Thanx

You could use Admin Tools to backdoor it, but you would need instructions and that password too. Your local vendor could get that done for you. I'm curious about the "upgrade" you purchased. Did it come with a new dongle to replace the bad one. Was the dongle re-keyed for you PBX serial number to allow CP to work with it? You should have received disks with the "upgrade". Something doesn't sound right to me.

If you lose the administrator password and you don't create another login, the only thing you can do is re-image the platform and start over. I always creat another administrator user when I build one in case someone changes the password on me.

By the way the release 3 and 4 default password was Bvw_250.

default password on some rls5 has been set to CP5.0 TRY THIS IT WORKED FOR ME...

I agree with Doc if you purchased this from a 3rd party reseller, should have supplied the required software documentation. Also if this is a resell from another site you will be facing licence moving fee's. Depending on the state ot the software, MD etc may not even be able to do it. Just beware.

Thank you all for your help..wanted to update you all, then close this thread please
After reloading the Callpilot 3.0, Server 2003 with the ghost image of the hard drive (came from Nortel), the passwords in this thread still did not work, I ended up "cracking" the Administrator account and discovered the initial load password is Bvw250!#
After I put that in, the server came up and I started configuration, where I was asked to setup the passwords on all 4 accounts, which I did.
The other - licensing issues, CLAN,ELAN, etc came up but were easily taken care of as well.
Again, thank you all for your inputs
