I recently have attached Cisco Unity to my Option 61C. It connects through a SMDI link that is controlled by 2 2616 programmed lines. My problem is that when I set the Unity server to take 10 digits nothing works, when I set it to 7 digits everything works except that the area code doesn't get passed through. My incoming caller ID works just fine and area codes come through just fine as well.

Anyone have any ideas as to what changes I need to make on the PBX (61C btw) or the 2 2616 phone so that they pass the full 10 digits through.

If the Unity is emulating 2616 and
If you test the same port with a 2616 phone and
You get all 10 digits on an incoming call

I'd suspect the cisco system first

Thanks senk1s. I was unable to view anything by placing 2 2616's on the lines. However I did find a useful feature on the PBXlink device. I was able to monitor the displays coming over from the programmed 2616 lines. Sure enough the area code is coming through on the PBXlink for that 2616 phone. Found out that there are two setting for this one on the Unity server and one on the PBXlink. Thanks for the help.

This forum rocks by the way, everyone keep up the good work.
