I've got to go to a client tomorrow who we installed a Norstar for and she has a weird issue.

For some reason they can't hear the caller well but the caller can hear them fine all the time.

I've had them call me and I can hear them great but they say they can hardly hear me even when turning up the volume on their 7316 phones. They tell me it is ALL of the phones, even the cordless.

The first thing I'll check for is that it's programmed for set volume not system volume but I doubt that could be the issue.

Anybody got any guesses on this? I have to admit that other then system volume settings I'm stumped on this since I can hear them as good as I could ask from any call.

Thanks!

If this is a CICS or MICS you can change the volume by changing the loss package under lines, trunk/line data, from medium CO to long CO.

CICS.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's been a loooong week and I didn't even think of that.
