Hello again,

I was wondering if anyone here knows how to modify the prompts in voicemail? When an outside caller gets voicemail, they can press 1 for shipping, 2 for sales, etc. I would like to configure a button.. lets say 5 to dial extension 210. How would I program this?

You do that in the CCR Tree. You have to disable the tree in the table before you make any changes.

I have done quite a bit with the phone system but I have not dealt with this part before. Would someone be be able to post instructions on how to do this, or do you have a link??

I know how to get in & disable the CCR tree but how do I assign extension numbers to buttons 1-9?

When you log in to f 983 go to other, press ccr, press ccr admin.
Enter tree 1, press change, it comes up path:.
0 would be main ccr greeting, any digit1-8 could be a menu, a transfer point or info mbox. The number 9 is for alternate language. After you set it up make sure you save the tree.

just do what phoneguy says...

If you want 5 to go to 210, just desable the tree, go in and change it...
Add path "5". Make it an XFER-INT (transfer internally) to ext 210.

End, Save, and re-enable the tree. That's it.

....You will want to change the recording on Path 0 too. You will need to tell people what will happen if they press 5
