Hello,

I have a 0X32 system in my home. I have a caller ID card that was installed in teh sytem and also another 4Line card that was installed in the system. Last year the 4LINE Caller ID Card was hit my lighting. Since the card has been removed and the other 4Line card has been installed in its place. I just noticed there are 4 fuses on the card. I noticed 2 of the 4 were burned. I think I remember Line 3 working after the lighting strike but am not sure. I was going to check so I powered down the system and removed the 4 line card and replaced with the Caller ID card to see if line 3 and 4 still worked. Well after the system started up none of the lines worked. So I turned the system back off and replaced the non Caller ID 4 Line card and powered the system back on. Well after power up the system tells me no service on any of the 3 lines I have. So I almost recall last year when I was freaking out thinking the whole system might be damaged and switching the cards around that I had to do a reboot code. I don't remember what this code is. Can anyone help. My main goal is just to get the system working again so I can have phone service. I will play with the fuses on the Caller ID card later and do the reboot with it to see if the fuses are the problem. Thanks in advance

First of all go into Maint and Disable then Re-Enable the card and see if that brings it back to life. The only reboot that I know of is STARTUP.

and the **startup code only works for XX amount of time after you shutdown the system and plug it back in anyways. Do what Hawk says, disable and re-enable the card.

Hello,

Thanks for the help. After restarting it again and waiting a few mins the Lines started back working. Is there much chance on that Caller ID card working again. When I installed it I heard 1 or 2 relays clicking non stop. Not sure if it is because the two of the fuses or blown or if the card is totally messed up.

Thanks for your help.
Chris
