My lines are going into our night greeting. The time is correct and not sure where I would check to see where or how to change (tree, lines, AA).

Wehre do I verify if phones are programmed with nightmode? It is not labeled physically.

Service Modes in phone system is where you could set up a night service.

Recetion set may have a night button or use F871 to activate or F871 to deactivate if reception is the control set.
In Night service it usual points to voice mails DN or a bunch of phone out back or a night bell.

In voice mail F983 you would tell lines to answer and the ring count under F983/AA/Lines/XXX

Forgot to mention is it that voice mail is picking up or that you here a we are closed greeting?

F983/Table/1/set you times of day to play the correct greeting.
Greetings are in F983/AA/GRTG/GRTG/X

Sounds like curly has your answer, but if all the programming looks ok, try a reboot on the voicemail. I have seen them get "stuck" on a particular greeting.

thanks - will try rebooting vm. checked it all and it started to work but then went back into day mode when it was the true closed time for 30 minutes.

Also go into F982 operator status and make sure the setting for answer lines is set to "yes".

Sounds as if the times in the greeting table may need to be adjusted.
Under 983>AA>Table # 1 >go thru till times of days and check there. If older VM try times under F 982 pswd. And if this is an old Startalk with a metal cabinet then you have to set the time seperatly by using feature 984.
