I noticed this thread had been closed (reference thread799-1004225) without resolution and thought I would try again.

I sometimes get the problem where an end user will tell me that they have got delivery of a voicemail message from the day before.
They swear that they had checked their voicemail the previous day, (both the display and by calling in), and the system had indicated they had no new messages, yet the next day they have a message dated from the previous morning.

It only happens occasionally and I have not been able to duplicate the problem.

Any ideas?

This is Norstar Voicemail on a NAM. (I think version 3.x) on MICS running both 4.1 and 1.0 software (2 different systems)

i'm my experiences with this is that it happens normally on the flashes. When the hard drive get close to capasity it starts acting up....... it will always log the message but will wait for space to free on the drive before sending it out to the receipient. Like when users delete messages.
First see if there is any unused mailboxes loaded with voicemails? Ask users to kindly delete any unneccessary mails. Some spring will probably fix u right up :)

If you have access to NVM Manager you can print out a list of all the programmed mailboxes in the system. That is a good idea to make sure that you don't have one that is causing the problem. Check the General Delivery Mailbox and make sure that it isn't full.
