I thought I would share a tid bit I discovered using Norstar Remote Utilities after being fed up with having to reboot my computer so many times.
I am sure you have experienced the "Unable to find connection manager" when using the remote program (pressing the cancel while connecting to a site or the wrong com port was chosen) and you have to restart the computer to get the remote program to work again.
It turns out you can go into the
C:\Program Files\Nortel Networks\ICSRT directory or wherever you installed the program and manually start the Connection manager program by clicking "Cmdaemon.exe" It will keep you from having to reboot.![[thumbsup2] [thumbsup2] [thumbsup2]](/data/assets/smilies/thumbsup2.gif)
