When using the CTA 100 on Norstar do I need the CTA 100 and the CTA 160i for each worstation? Does the CTA reside at the desktop or the MDF? Where does the device pull its information for out-dialing, the customer database software, speed dial list?
The customer is wanting to use Convertech's VCM. More of a toy than a necessity. Just wants to be able to place and receive call from PC. I already let him know he still needs to converse through the phone.
Cool.
That particular product only requires one CTA 100.
The CTA will need to be near the PC running as VCM Server to connect the serial cable from the CTA to the PC.
Any PC's that run VCM Client can connect via the LAN.
This app is basically a replacement for the old Norstar PC Console.
