I have a 0X32 with 4.1 software, 6 port combo card, T1 card and trunk module. I need to bring the system down to a basic 0X32 with 4.1 software no expansions. The system will not come back up without the 6 port card installed. Is there a method to downgrade the configuration.

Thanks for you help in advance.

I beleive that you need to disable the card in programming before you can remove it.

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

do a system startup then unplug when the display says applying template. Then take your cards out and power the system back up. This should take the system all the way back default.

Hawks is right......a downgrade will default the system. No way around it.........

Hawks is correct. The STARTUP procedure will allow the downgrade. Any type of downgrade whether hardware or software will default the programming. You will also jump the system ID which would render a PRI Enabler inactive if you have one installed.

To clarify, you can safely remove any hardware connected to the fiber expansion card, but any hardware/software downgrade on the cabinet itself will default it.
