I know there is an upper and lower case instruction, but is there a normal case?

Would like to convert this line to normal case.

NName: Concatenate("SELECT Athlete FROM qselJunctionNames WHERE ID2=" & [TXCLIPS].[ID2])

PHV - If you are there, my last thread had a star for you. When I posted the thread I realised it should have been in the queries forum so I red flagged it. Then I thought I would leave a gap before putting it on again in the queries forum as did not want people shouting I had duplicated it. However you came in once again to the rescue, gave you a star, blinked and the thread was efficiently cleared - but oh! your star. Will even it up. Regards

I don't know what normal case, so I guess you wanted proper case:
NName: StrConv(Concatenate("SELECT Athlete FROM qselJunctionNames WHERE ID2=" & [TXCLIPS].[ID2]),3)

Hope This Helps, PH.

By "normal" do you mean "Title Case Where Each Word Is Capitalized" or "Sentence case where only the first word is capitalized"?

If it is athlete names I'm guessing you want Joe jones and fred smith and mike Williams to come out as Joe Jones and Fred Smith and Mike Williams?

Thanks PHV, it's as you thought ie Fred Smith (hope Fred Smith's not out there) Regards

I,m cracking up at this end, I was answering at the time of posts comming back replied. Sorry for the confusion of my last answer. Thanks PHV, that works just as I wanted. Thanks BigRed1212 for comming in.

Just because I'm interested, what will you do with the famous mythical Dutch athlete Andrius van der Brugge?

He's my favorite example.

With a name like that he can stay mythical!! Regards

As mythical as ZOR?

You may be able to hack this to cope with Dutch names. I've had a quick look, but haven't got time at the minute, I may have another look later.

We could be confused in exactly the same way, but confusion might be like Nulls, and not comparable.
