I used start up options to display a start up form, hide the database window, hide menus, etc. to save screen space. Now, I need to edit a form, but can't unhide the database window. The menu option is no longer visible, also true for the start up menu item.

Checked the FAQ but didn't see anything - how do I undo the start up options when the menu item is gone?

Thanks - Rick

Press down and hold down the <Shift> key.
Startup Access, still holding <Shift> down
Select the locked down db
You should now be "inside"
Go and make your changes

THANKS - and I humbly accept the scolding for not backing up. I think it's actually the first Ten Commandments of ANY thing we do. One of those times when I've been away from the guts of something and was in a hurry. Hand slapped, and I needed it!! THANKS AGAIN.
