Hi All,
We are running a Netware 5.1 network in non-NDPS printing mode. I am trying to set up print servers to login to netware servers via tcp/ip. The print server are mostly built-in Xerox Document Centre Print Servers and built-in and external lexmark / marknet print servers. All the print servers are set up with both IP addresses and netware print Qs but the print servers only login to Novell via IPX.
Is it possible to set up the print servers so that they login to Netware via tcp/ip without changing print server and print Q names

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Regards

Dave

Queue based services can't use TCP/IP. Only IPX.

A better way is to use NDPS to setup IP printing. If you still need your queues, just assign the NDPS printer agents to service the queues. It's very simple.
