no voice between call manager and s8700

we followed the application notes to connect s8700 cm2.0 with a cisco call manager. we can signal but we can not talk. when I do a trace I see the call hitting the trunk but I get a denial event 2300: ept capabilities mismatch. Any suggestions would be welcome.
 
You did a stat trunk on both the 8700 and Call Manager to make sure that the PTP T1 is up (assuming thats the carrier medium)?

I'm going to run the same setup within the next 2 months for testing.

how are you connecting these together? i assume some a G6xx gateway with 464 board, to a MGCP cisco gateway? if some im guessing you need to be looking on the cisco side for the problem. Cisco has a doc on there website that shows 2651 (mgcp) to definity V7, thats what we used to connect our v9 to the cisco. the cisco guys had to monkey with thier side.

we are connecting across are lan using a pri with group type h.323 through are clan and med pro cards
