No Sound with Windows media player

Hello All,

I have windows media player(V7) and I cant get the sound to play. I do not have that problem with RealPlayer. I have re-installed Windows media player thinking that somehow the install got screwed up.I am confused over this one

Howdy,

I don't mean to sound insulting here so I appologise if I do.
Have you checked that Media players own volume control is turned up and the mute button is not selected.
