No Security Tab when Setting FILE Permissions. The drive is NTFS but I don't have security Tab, There is only one profile on the Pc for that user, who is belonged to the Administrators group. Thank you in advance for your help.
 
Go into the folder options menu, in one of the tabs at the very bottom there is a checkbox for use simple file sharing. Uncheck that box and restart the computer.
 
If it is XP Pro follow "mikecx's" advice. If it is XP Home you will have to be in Safe Mode to access Security Tab.

thanks for the correction. I dont tend to use the "home" based products to often and should have specified that I only knew of it working on professional. Sometimes I forget that it's Microsoft we are talking about and nothing should be assumed :)
