No ringback to Ericsson

We recently made an interconnection (PRI) between a S8700 IP connect and a Ericsson MD110 system.
Our problem is that when calling from an Avaya IPphone to Ericsson we have no ringback tone. In all other cases the tones are OK.

Strange is when using the redial button on an IPphone we have a very short ringback but afterwards silence.

I see that the Ericsson is giving the Avaya an Alerting message. This is normally the trigger to start ringback, correct ? But I hear nothing.


anybody suggestions ?

alerting message means that the called party may put some in-band info in the b-channel, but in your case i think ericsson side does not generate ringback tones. first, try to change ds1's interworking message to progress, if it does not help, consult your ericsson guys.
 
Hi,

I already changed the interworking message. But no result.
I think we need to go further with our PBX guys, even when they are saying that they are sending the ringback info.
