No outgoing mail

Our exchange server has stopped sending e-mail to external addresses e.g. me@internal.com to him@internal.com works fine but me@internal.com to him@external.com returns the following message to the user: - "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients". Inbound email from outside works fine. Has anyone got any ideas

Have you been able to check that your DNS servers are working correctly ?

All our DNS is provide by our ISP. We also have a sun coblat qube which sends out e-mail fine.
It is thought the exchange box doesnt now where to send email that are for out side but the internet connector is there and working fine

have solved the problem by removing and then re-entering the delivery addresses details so that it used an * so all e-mails that are not e.g. username@company.co.uk go out bound fixed the problem.
On lighter note found it easier when only one copy of exchange admin software was open as every time the program was closed the last session to close saved and ovedr wrote the settings i kept putting back in. Ah the joys of working with others.
