No. of conference limit 2

IPO Server edition Release 11. We are not able to do conference having more than 6 participants. The Tech says that we need some licenses to increase the no of participants beside default 6 party conference. Can somebody help what Licenses we need to increase the no of users in a single conference? does some hardware also needed?

The only license I can think of, off the top of my head, that would help with getting more participants in a conference would be more licenses for your trunks likely SIP. Can you confirm what kind of trunks you have and how many licenses you have?

Stat be telling us what phones are involved? On some phones, the conference features offered through the menus are for a conference hosted by the phone and so are very limited in the number of users. Conferences hosted by the IP Office system can be much bigger, it may be that you have to use IP Office shortcodes to start and add people to the conference.

Avaya docs tell of up to 256 conf size depending on the server type, no licenses are mentioned for that. Additionally my old memories tell me no vmpro channels are used for confrenecing but internal resources, so no reason to require conf licenses

256 is for SE select. SE will support 128 and a stand alone IPO is 64.

No such license exists for conferencing channels. Only license thing that changes conf is SE/Preferred to add PIN protetced conf etc,

Other things must be in consideration here.

IP500v2 is 2 x 64 party conference chips. SE is either 128 or 256 max, depending on the server type and spec it is installed on.

All users using IP Phones. CM is release 7. The user initiate call after dialing TAC and then Cell no, he wants to take more than 6 users using the same procedure by himself.

1. "All users using IP Phones" that's a usless answer, you might as well just have said "phones" - Actual make and models of phone please?

2. You said "IP Office Server Edition R11" at the start. Now you say CM Release 7!? Which is it? If CM then you're in the wrong forum.
