No Music on Hold when call is parked or call is on hold 2

Hi,

i have recently installed my first IP office SOE. The system is working but there are few issues that i need to resolve.

1) when a caller is put on hold or parked, there is no music, it is just dead slient, how can i add a 30 sec audio to correct this problem?

You have to have an external music source. I do not think you can have an internal MOH. Just on all other bigger systems.

Hmm,

I the specs of the system allow you to add a 30 sec audio file for music on hold, I just dont know how to add that to the system

Check help to get the mono wav. format and maximum size of the file then after converting the file, just put the file in the manager folder.

SOE can not have internal MOH Wav file.

I have a small office with MOH as a wav file. works great. set it as holdmusic.wav in the tftp directory and started working.
