No more Backup Statistics on NetWorker Management Console

Hello,

since several days I'm getting no more statistics on the NetWorker-Management-Console (I'll call it NMC) from one of our NetWorker Servers.

It worked until the 12th of june. No entries in the errorlog of the Backupserver (AIX). No messages/logentries on the WIN2003 Server where the NMC runs.

I already did a restart of the NetWorker Services on the Backupserver and a restart of the NMC-Services on the WIN-Box.

Yes, the properties of the Backupserver in the NMC's Enterprise-View are set to "Capture Management Events, Gather Reporting Data".

Please note: the Backup-Status is still available in the Reports-View, i.e. Group Details by Group Name. But no Backup-Statistics since the 12th oh this month.


I have a second Backupserver (Solaris) running on exactly the same Legato Version (Release: 7.2.1.Build.314) like the other one. The NMC lists all the Statistics from this 2nd Backupserver, even those after the 12th on June.


... any ideas?

just if someone's interested: Installed NetWorker Management Console V.3.2.2

I opened a support-case to Legato (EMC). They couldn't help me ... I guess that the NetWorker Management Console is some new stuff that support people at EMC don't know at this time.

However, because we had to install NetWorker 7.3 or our 3rd AIX Backupserver, we changed the Console Version to 3.2.2 ... you know it already ... now it works!

The Statistics-Data is correctly gathered from all 3 Backupservers. The SSID's which where missed from time to time are captured also fro each saveset.
