If I go to run macros there are none
I do not see any when I hit Alt+f11

So why does it say the file contains macros when started up?

It will say that even if there are only empty modules

Right click on module name and choose
"Remove"
choose No when asked if you want to export it

Save workbook

You will no longer be prompted for macros

empty userform or class modules then

You wouldn't get prompted unless there was something there

I believe the code below is the only thing that is causing this because i recorded a macro, and copied the code, but deleted the macro.

ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.PrintOut Copies:=1, Collate:=True

Is there a way to put this so it isn't a macro?

Have you deleted the module too ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

The code you have above is the default settings for any printing and is not really needed. Have you tried to remove this code and see if you get asked still.

If you do need this code, you could set it up within an excel addin and therefore would effect all workbooks and would not require enabling.

Monagan,

Check the left hand side of your screen, where the project names should be listed, when looking at the macro coding in VB. If you have more than 1 file,(ie. Document1, Document2, etc.) then click on the plus sign - Microsoft Word Objects plus sign - and double click on ThisDocument. This should bring up each individual window of coding. Delete any coding in those windows.
Also, in the document window,(outside of the coding) go to Tools - Macro - Macros - highlight any macros in the window, and hit the delete key.
Hope it works for you.
