No incoming email sound in Outlook 2007

Have done an upgrade and a clean install of Office 2007(2 PC's),but get no incoming email sound in Outlook.
With Outlook 2003,had no problems.

Anybody else have this problem?

The initial download of incoming mail there is no sound there is for all subsequence mail

Have you installed the soundpack for Office? You can download it from the Microsoft Office Support site. Without it installed, Office makes no sounds whatsoever.

Where can I download this sound pack?, cannot find it for 2007.

there is none

It's the same pack as for O2003.

You ca check if it is installed by going to COntrol Panel, Sounds applet, Sounds Tab and scroll down to New Mail Notification and clicking on TEST.

yes go to the sound control panel in vista ans assign the sound you want

It worked 'out of the box' for me. The sound assigned is 'New Mail Notification'
