It sounds like a problem with it not booting rather than a problem with the monitor. Make sure all your connections are seated firmly. You might try reseating your RAM and Processor. Also, it should do some sort of beeping. These are POST messages. If it beeps, tell us how many and if they are long or short. Also, knowing who makes your BIOS would be helpful for determining what the beeps mean. This information should be in your motherboard manual. You didn't say anything about your RAM, you do have it installed, right? After reseating everything try booting again. The problems when first building a computer can be many. This is just where I would start troubleshooting before assuming any faulty components. Justin
