I installed all but when i turn it on the power led turn on and the hdd led but it not send any image to the monitor i dont know what to do i need some help its the first time i do this Thanks

It sounds like a problem with it not booting rather than a problem with the monitor. Make sure all your connections are seated firmly. You might try reseating your RAM and Processor. Also, it should do some sort of beeping. These are POST messages. If it beeps, tell us how many and if they are long or short. Also, knowing who makes your BIOS would be helpful for determining what the beeps mean. This information should be in your motherboard manual. You didn't say anything about your RAM, you do have it installed, right? After reseating everything try booting again. The problems when first building a computer can be many. This is just where I would start troubleshooting before assuming any faulty components. Justin

Well first I would check to make sure that your monitor works like try hooking it up to anoher computer, and if it still works then make sure that all of your connections that you made were good conections and that they are in the proper way. Then you might want to reinstall some of the software to make sure that is seeing your monitor. This is just some information, hopefully this will help you some anyway. Good Luck!!

If you've tested you monitor in another PC and it works fine, then your hardware or software could be the possible problem. Have you check the mainboard settings, maybe the VGA is disabled, or the VGA card is not seated properly in the slot.

You mentioned that you used a Celeron processor. You need to check the bus speed on the motherboard -- Celeron's use a 66mhz bus and will not boot unless the motherboard settings agree. Some boards are autosensing and adjust themselves, however, I did have a similar experience with a bare-bones machine that told you to set the bus speed in the BIOS. This was easy enough, only they didn't seem to consider that you couldn't boot the machine to get to the BIOS unless the bus speed was already set! Please note that with most boards you can also use any speed of memory you have (66, 100, 133) so long as the board will step it down for you. Good luck!

It is possible you have your hard drive cable on wrong, sometimes if its on upside-down it can cause the computer to not start up. I would take it out and see if your computer starts without it, then work up from there. I know you wont get any kind of OS, but at least you should see the post information. I would also remove any un-needed cards temporarily to determine the problem, modems, NICs etc.
